Agenda for Parent/Booster Meeting

*Opening Statements
*We need parents for help with the Booster Club.
*We need a Treasurer, Snack Bar Coordinator, and a Tournament
Coordinator to help the coaching staff set up tournaments and
make sure the wrestlers have what they need for the
tournaments, ie; snack, gear, etc….
*Upcoming Car Show Fundraiser: June 2, 2007. Entrance fee is
$5.00 adults, Students and Senior Citizens $3.00, Children 10 and under free.
*Any parents with a business that would like to be a vendor please see me for a application. This is a great source of advertisement.
*We are going to need all wrestlers at the Car Show to help with this fundraiser by 7am (NO EXCEPTIONS).
*We also need as many parents as possible to help with this event if we can get enough volunteers we only need to do two four hour shifts 8am -12pm and 12pm to 4pm. The show is from 9am to 3pm.
*We have set up time from 6:30am to 8:30am and clean up time from 3pm to 5pm.
*Remember parents the more organized we are the more money we make and the more money goes to the wrestling team. We have to pay for all of our tournaments this year.
*I have been working around the clock to get raffle prizes donated, so if anyone wants to donate something or you know someone willing to donate please contact me for a donation letter with our tax ID # on it.
*Food handler’s card for any parents interested in helping at anytime with food. Must have food card or we can be fined up to $25,000 Dollars.
*We are going to be needed at least eight people for the day of the car show and since it has been so advertised it is a good possibility that we could get checked for food handler’s cards.
*Bingo Nights coming up on August 29th and September 5th.
*We must have one parent from each of our wrestlers to do one or the other Bingo Nights.
*This is extremely important, because we need fifteen people to cover each of the two shifts and for every person we are missing the school charges us $150.00.
*This comes out of our wrestling money and in turn from your child’s needs.
*So please sign up on the sheets and help your child and remember this is a FUNDRAISER for your kids.
*Wrestling Banquet: Thursday, May 31, 2007 @ 6:30 in the Roosevelt High School Cafeteria
*Tickets are $15.00 per person for catering. Must have money in by 5/25/07

*Coaches Gifts (hush-hush, it’s a secret)
