Coach’s Corner

 

Welcome to Mustang Wrestling

 

I am very excited about the start of this season.  We have an  opportunity to do great things this year if everyone is willing to  put the time and effort into their training to become great wrestlers on a great team.

 

I have watched several of you train in club wrestling this past summer and I believe this season we will reap the rewards of that hard work.  For those of you who are new to the team, don’t be shy, jump on board and start working hard to become accepted as part of the team.

 

I promise each and every one of you who put in the hard work and maintain your GPA above a 2.0 live wrestling matches this year against other schools who are also training hard.

 

Don’t settle for just OK or “good enough”, strive to be your best and pay attention during training to learn properly and you will surprise yourself with the results.  I guarantee it.

 

In the end, what do you want out of this season?  What memories do you want to carry out of your high school wrestling career?  Only you can decide how your wrestling season will be.  The only one in your way is yourself, so do something about it and become a champion.
